Open House at Central was a blast! The fifth grade classes each had a center to have parents participate in. The students were pretty proud of their parents for knowing the answers to questions displayed in the centers. We all had fun and had the opportunity to get to know each other better, plus parents had the chance to see their childs work, progress, as well as getting tips on how to assist them at home. We appreciate everyone for attending and making this open house a success. Maybe next time we'll assign homework!
Students in Mr Acosta's and Mr Gordon's 6th Grade Classes have been busy learning about Atoms, Measurement Systems, Figurative Language, River Civilizations, and Data Analysis. At our Open House on Tuesday, November 17, parents were led by the student "guides" on a tour of learning stations. Both classes reported having 10 parents per class attend with their Sixth Graders.
